KAZAKOFF, Dean Kelly: It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Dean Kazakoff. Dean was born in Kamsack, SK, August 15, 1970 and passed February 11, 2017 at age 46 years after battling cancer. Dean attended Veregin and Kamsack schools. Upon graduation he moved to Moose Jaw to attend STI for a Radio and TV tech, then returned home to work for the RM of Sliding Hills and Potzus Construction. Later Dean moved to Calgary, AB where he became a journeyman electrician. Over the years in and around Calgary he worked commercial projects such as water treatment facility, two power plants and as a junior foreman on the new Calgary Foothills Children's Hospital. In 2013 he returned to Saskatchewan and worked commercially and residentially. Finally he found his dream job teaching 1st year electrical at Moosomin and Esterhazy Parkland Community Colleges. Dean is survived by his dear friend Lisa Kazakoff; father and mother, Fred and Adeline; brother Bradley; sister Claudia (William Tenwolde); nephew James (Kennedy); niece Jesse (Chad Matychuk); great-nephews Owen, Logan, Morgan and great-niece Annabelle.
