Eileen Buckby

Buckby, Eileen Marilyn (nee Chalkman) passed away September 18, 2017 at aged 73.  She was born October 10, 1943 in Malartic (Abitibi) Quebec to parents, Albert and Lucienne Chalkman (nee Lavallee) and grew up in Winnipeg, MB.  Eileen had various occupations throughout her life while raising her two daughters. She retired to travel with her partner Terry Stevenson and eventually they retired to his hometown of Kamsack, SK. Eileen loved to garden, enjoyed canning and sharing her bounty.  She had a special spot in her heart for her long time companion, her dog Jenny and her two cats.

Eileen is survived by her daughters Karen (James Lazaruk) Henry Maurage of BC and Wanda (Maurizio) Martino of Kamsack, SK., grandchildren Christian, Justin (Michelle), Devin, Caitlin, Candace (Jason), Brant (Tina), Cody, Cade, Blayd great grandchildren, Linden, Brendon (Naomi), Christina and Tyler and her sisters Darlene Aiello and Sharon Lavallee. 

Her partner Terry Stevenson, her parents Lucienne and Albert Chalkman and her brother Darrel Chalkman predeceased Eileen.

A mix and mingle will be held October 16, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB.
