Georgina Chisholm

Chisholm Bugera, Georgina, February 11, 1928 – May 7, 2015, of Pelly, Sk., passed away peacefully at the Kamsack Hospital, at the age of 87 years.

Georgina was born to Robert and Agnus Chisholm (nee Mein) in Killiam, Alberta, where she also attended school.  As a young girl, Georgina was a young care-free girl who sometimes would get into trouble with her siblings on the farm. After finishing her schooling, Georgina and the family moved to Calgary. This is where she was employed for a number of years with Safeway Meat Packers. During this time she loved to dance and listen to music. While visiting family in Pelly, Sk., she met Fred Bugera in June of 1978. Fred and Georgina courted for a short time and in September 1978, they moved into a house together in Pelly.  During her time in Pelly, Georgina enjoyed fishing and cooking and was a very hard worker.  Georgina and Fred enjoyed to travel, often visiting her sisters in B.C. and Alberta.

  Georgina is survived by her husband Fred, sisters; Margaret Scholpp, Betty Chisholm, Brother William (Maragret) Chisholm as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, siblings; Agnus, Catherine, Robert, Robenia, Isabella, Jane, Walter.

  Prayers where held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 followed by the Funeral Service which was held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 both services from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service – Kamsack, with Kevin Sprong officiating.
