Keith Cote

Keith Nelson Cote was born on Cote First Nation to Mervin and Stella Cote on August 19, 1943.  When he was young he taught himself how to read and write by using puzzle books to learn.  He lived in Alberta for 10 years, Yorkton, Regina and Cote First Nation. He loved to listen to country music and do puzzle books. Most important his children and grandchildren meant he world to him.   Nelson was a carpenter but also known as a backyard mechanic. 
He is survived by sons; Forbes Ironstand, Roderic Bondy and Joseph Cote and his two siblings; Freezene (Gene) Johnston and Woodson Cote, grandsons Katlin Whitehawk and Kale Whitehawk.
Wake Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. both from Cote Band Hall, Cote First Nation, Saskatchewan.
