Lawrence Klimchuk
July 9, 2017Klimchuk, Lawrence - February 4, 1922 – July 9, 2017, father, grandfather, and great grandfather entered eternal rest at the Norquay Health Centre at the age of 95 years.
Lawrence was born the second oldest of nine children, in the Mikado Distrcit to Michael and Ksenia Klimchuk (nee Yaholnitski). Lawrence married Elsie Owchar on August 9, 1952 and took residence in the Pelly District. Lawrence and Elsie were blessed with three children Edward, Myrna and Kenneth.
Lawrence’s passion in life was farming.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Elsie, son Eddie (Patty), daughter Myrna (Eric) Ruthven, and son Kenny. Also mourning his passing are four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will always be remembered in our hearts.
In keeping with Lawrence’s wishes a private family funeral service will be held at the Riverview Cemetery – Kamsack. Those who so wish, may make memorial donations to the Pelly Happy Hearts Senior’s Centre or the Pelly Community Hall as tokens of remembrance.
