                MOSIUK, Nettie born May 22, 1922 – November 10, 2014 aged 92 years, of the Kamsack- St. Philips area formerly of the Wroxton District passed away suddenly at the Norquay Health Centre.  Nettie was born on the family farm near Wroxton, SK.  She was the daughter of Stephen and Irene Malayny (nee Lusney).  Mom helped out at the farm when she finished her education. She went out working, helping other families by cooking and cleaning.   Mom met Mike Mosiuk and were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton on November 22, 1952.  They then moved to St. Philips area where they settled on the Mosiuk homestead farm till a quarter of land came up for sale north-west of where they living.  Together they raised a family and adventually bought another quarter of land clearing brush and opening land. 

                Mom liked to sew, knitting sweaters, socks, making blankets and table covers for a past time in winter.  In the spring, she enjoyed her flowers and garden.  She looked forward to raising young chicks and milking cows.  Mom stayed on the family farm till May 2014 with her son, Bernie. She spent a brief period at Kamsack Nursing Home and finally residing at Norquay Health Centre. 

                Nettie is predeceased by her father Steve in 1981, mother Irene 1984, husband Mike in 1990, brother Fedor, sister Mary Malayny, son-in-law Ken Rezansoff and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

                Nettie is survived by her daughter Irene Rezansoff (Eric) of Winnipeg, MB., son Bernie of Kamsack, brothers Anton (Shirley), Elie, Philip from Yorkton, sister Annie from Garson, MB., two grandchildren and four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

                Visitation was held on November 14, 2014.  A private Funeral Service was November 15, 2014 from The Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service, Kamsack, SK. with Father Ivan Derkach officiating.  Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery, Kamsack, SK.  Those so wishing, may make memorial donations to charity of one’s choice.
