As a child Jude grew up on the Cote First Nation, but also lived in Prince Albert and Regina. He attended Lebret Residential School and Kamsack Collegiate Institute. He was a bright student and did well in school. Jude's family and many friends knew him to be kind, gentle and generous. His wife Hollie and himself brought 6 beautiful children into the world and created a loving, tight-knit, happy, family. Ruger, Star, Jagr, Jroq, Jude and Jade are fortunate to be bound together by Jude and Hollie's love.  Jude was very proud of his children's academic and athletic achievements and their beautiful babies Zaylen , Aliah-grace, Jagr II & Dawson.

Jude had numerous friends and maintained many friendships, going back to childhood in Badgerville. He took his family to Vancouver for a year or to and then returned to his home community, Cote First Nation.
