Richard (Jude) Langan
April 23, 2017As a child Jude grew up on the Cote First Nation, but also lived in Prince Albert and Regina. He attended Lebret Residential School and Kamsack Collegiate Institute. He was a bright student and did well in school. Jude's family and many friends knew him to be kind, gentle and generous. His wife Hollie and himself brought 6 beautiful children into the world and created a loving, tight-knit, happy, family. Ruger, Star, Jagr, Jroq, Jude and Jade are fortunate to be bound together by Jude and Hollie's love. Jude was very proud of his children's academic and athletic achievements and their beautiful babies Zaylen , Aliah-grace, Jagr II & Dawson.
Jude had numerous friends and maintained many friendships, going back to childhood in Badgerville. He took his family to Vancouver for a year or to and then returned to his home community, Cote First Nation. Jude was very proud of his children's academic and athletic achievements and their beautiful babies Zaylen , Aliah-grace, Jagr II, Dawson and Hollie. Jude had numerous friends and maintained many friendships, going back to childhood in Badgerville. He took his family to Vancouver for a year or two and then returned to his home community, Cote First Nation. Now he returns to the love of his life and friends who have passed. We are sad that he had to leave us. Let us remember his love and his laughter, as he wore his black leather jacket.
Jude is survived by his children; Ruger (Margaret (Maggie) Severight), Star (Vernon) Durocher Jagr (Benita), Jroq (Ashley Machiskinic), Jude, Jade, grandchildren; Zaylen, Aliah-grace, Jagr II, Dawson, Hollie, father Richard Langan, brother Caesar (Tiffany), sisters; Ruby, Alicia, Juanita (Daniel) and Nakita.
He is precedeased by grandparents; Henry Joseph Langan, Lorna Netty Genaille, Erma Cote, Alex Wilfred Cote, Marie Gwendolyn Severight, Peter Severight, wife Hollie Joyce Cote, mother Mary Thoreen Sylvia Langan, brother Ernest Dean Langan, sister Melody Lynn Langan.
