It is with profound sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Allan Bowes, in Mexico. Allan James was born in Kamsack to Ivan and Mabel Bowes (nee Bennet) on August 30, 1942. His early years were spent growing up on the family farm with a large family of three brothers and three sisters and many cousins. He attended Poplar Point School and Kamsack Collegiate Institute. Upon completion of grade 12, Allan began farming full time. He was an avid baseball player and curler. Allan enjoyed boating, camping, and dancing. In later years, he enjoyed many winters in Guayabitos, Mexico with Nadine, family members and numerous friends.
Allan is survived by his wife Nadine, son Murray (Lee) and family Brett and Kaylie, daughter Pam and her family Logan and Keauna, step-children Jodi (Scott) and Rylan and Avery, Kelly (Fred) and Hannah, Madelyn and Josh, great grandchildren Kyson, and Amelia.
He is survived by Mavis Dunsmore (Ken), mother of Murray and Pam, siblings Eileen Burback (Vic Yaciuk), Lorne and Judy Bowes, Linda and Greg Manwaring, Brian and Anne Bowes, Don and Donna Bowes, brother-in-law Ray Prysliak, step-brothers Bob and Verene Elmy, and John and Jeanine Elmy, Nadine's siblings John (Ellen) Klochko, Richard (Anita) Klochko and Linda (Brian) Hunter.
He was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Mabel, sister Jean Prysliak, nephew Kelly Manwaring, brother-in-law Mel Burback, mother-in-law Mary Klochko and step-mother Isabel Bowes.
