Tetoff, Anne March 12, 1925 – January 6, 2018 was born to Peter and Polly (Lackten) Skwernuik on her parents farm approximately twelve miles north of Wroxton.  She attended Two Creeks School.  At the age of sixteen, she ventured off to Hamilton, Ontario to begin working.  On November 8, 1947 she married George Tetoff who was also from the Wroxton area.  Together in 1947, they began building their farmstead located nine miles north of Wroxton.

Anne is survived by her six children, grandchildren and great grandchild; Garry (Joan) of Regina, granddaughter Jolene of Regina and great granddaughter Teagan of Regina; Ronald (Barbara) of Kamsack, grandchildren Stefanie (Corey) of Regina, Tyson of Oranjestad, Aruba, Alexander (Rachael) of Regina with an expectant great grandchild; Marilyn of Vancouver; Mark (Sheri) of Flin Flon, grandsons Colten and Nickolai of Flin Flon; David of Wroxton; Lesa of Weyburn; as well as youngest sister Eleanor Cucmak of Winnipeg and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Anne was predeceased by her parents Peter (1962) and Polly (1993), husband George (2008), son Kenneth (1975), oldest sister Mary Balaniuk (2007), only brother Peter Skwernuik (2013), older sister Betty Fedor (2017), only sister-in-law Nellie Skwernuik (2008), and brothers-in-law John Balaniuk (1989), Maurice Cucmak (2000), and Paul Fedor (2004).

Mom loved cooking, gardening, flowers and all plants.  She had a green thumb to grow anything indoors or outdoors.  When creating her food dishes, her common saying was “something is lacking!”  One of the many memories is her grandchildren naming Mom’s farm kitchen “Baba's Food Factory”.  Her spirit to always lend a helping hand at community events in the Brandon School District and Wroxton District were generous.  To her family, relatives and friends, young and elder, near and far, we thank you and we thank God for sharing Mom’s love.

Funeral Service was held January 13, 2018 from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service – Kamsack, with Rev. Kevin Sprong officiating. Anne was laid to rest at the Riverview Cemetery – Kamsack. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions to Brandon School as token of remembrance. To leave a note of condolence for the family, please visit Wolkowski.ca
