John C. Berezowski Obituary

It is with very saddened hearts, we announce our dearest dad and papa’s passing on October 3, 2019, just ten days shy of their  57 wedding anniversary.
John Carl Berezowski was born January 26, 1933 in Kamsack, to Mike and Mary (nee Bobyk) Berezowski. On October 13, 1962, he married Diane Sterzer. In January 1963, they relocated to Saskatoon for John to attend carpentry school then returned home to continue farming and start his family; Maureen 1963, John Michael 1965, Karen 1970 and Sheri 1973.
Dad was an avid churchgoer and life-long member of the Father Ruelle Council of the Knights of Columbus, having taken a turn filling every position on Council with the latest and longest being their Financial Secretary. He also held a seat on the Kamsack School Division board.
Dad was a farmer through and through but also loved to socialize, had a great sense of humor and loved to jokingly tease people. He was dependable, reliable, a mentor and great provider. We all knew we could turn to him in a time of need and never be disappointed!
Left to love him forever are his wife of fifty six years, Diane; daughters, Maureen, Karen and Sheri (Troy) Smith; John Jr.; grandsons Dustin, Teagan, Braidon, Gage; granddaughters Kaitlyn, Tess, Brooke, Natasha; his special connection Makenzie; and the sparkle of his eye, his little girl, great-granddaughter Jordyn, sister Elsie (Bill) Bryshun; sister-in-law Connie Berezowski, brother-in-law Glen Sterzer, sister-in-law Eleanor (Wes) White and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary Berezowski, brother Lawrence, in-laws Jack and Frances Sterzer, brother-in-law Alphonse (Muriel) Sterzer, sister-in-law Sherry Sterzer.
