Louis Peter Michael Roebuck was born the seventh of thirteen children to Michael and Anne Roebuck (nee Pacholko). Louis was raised on the family farm a half mile East of Theodore. He learned early in life about the value of hard work from all aspects of farm life. After completing grade school Louis went to tech school and worked for Torchinski Surveying in Yorkton. He worked at surveying roads and bridges in and around the province. In 1971 he married Gloria Hrynchyshyn from Buchanan and they had three children Todd, Trent and Lana. During those years they owned and operated Roebuck Lucky Dollar and Roebuck Clothing Stores. Louis also owned and operated a grocery store in Endeavour later on in life. He loved meeting new people and serving a small town. Family time was spent camping, fishing, canoeing. Louis loved the outdoors and was a leader for the Boy Scouts for many years.

Louis will always be remembered as a calm, peaceful, big hearted man, always making time for his children and grandchildren. Louis had moved to Buchanan and has been there enjoying retirement, until his sudden passing.
