Deederly, Wilhelmina “Minnie” (nee Baumung) born December 20, 1919 – November 24, 2017 aged 97 years.  We announce the passing of our dearest Mother, loving Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.  Minnie was born in Zorra, Saskatchewan.  Minnie received the gift of Holy Baptism on January 1st, 1920 and was later confirmed in the Christian faith.  She was the eldest daughter of Frederick and Karolina Baumung.  Minnie was united in holy matrimony to William Deederly in 1948 at Togo, Saskatchewan.  They were married for 69 years.

During her lifetime Minnie worked hard on the farm, in her gardens and flower beds and much more.  In the winter months she crocheted beautiful doilies.  She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren.  She loved to draw with them and play cards.  Minnie was very quiet and humble.  She always had a beautiful smile for everyone and had a positive outlook on life regardless of the challenges she faced.  She was very loving, caring and generous.  On Sunday mornings Minnie and William looked forward to and would listen to the Lutheran Hour on the radio.  This was very important to them.

Minnie is survived by her loving husband William, children Bill, Garry, Sharon and Raymond (Donna), nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, brothers George, Arthur, Fred (Irma), sisters, Ellen Baumung,  Elsie Maguire as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Minnie is predeceased by her brother Ed Baumung, brother-in-law Harvey Maguire, nephew Dale Maguire, granddaughter Holly Deederly, daughter-in-law, Nancy Deederly, and son-in-law Harold Metz.

May she rest in peace.

Funeral Service was held on November 30, 2017 at the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service, Kamsack, SK., with Pastor Barry Wood officiating.  Interment followed at Togo Community Cemetery, Togo, SK.  Those who so desire, may make memorial donations, in Minnie’s name to the Togo an District Cemetery Fund as tokens of remembrance.  To leave a note of condolence for the family please visit Wolkowski.ca.
