Stan Biletski

     Stan Biletski, 71, a long time resident of Canora, SK, was taken away suddenly on June 1, 2017 in Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
     Stan was born in Canora on October 14, 1945 to Joe and Elsie (Tureski) Biletski. Stan was raised on the family farm in Canora/Tiny District. He received his education at Kowalowka School and later finished his schooling in Canora. Stan married Sylvia Yarish of Canora, on February 5, 1964. They had four children; Evan, Earl, Sheila and Candace. They resided on the family farm. 
     Stan trucked and farmed for all of his life. For those that knew him, knew he never stopping working. You could find him "at the farm-usually building something." His hands could create a lot of things. Stan loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt, camp and spend time with his family. If you were a friend of Stan's, you were a friend for life. His laugh and smile was contagious. He will be truly missed by those who loved him. 
     He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Elsie Biletski. He leaves to mourn his wife Sylvia (Yarish) Biletski, four kids Evan (Laura), Earl, Sheila (Terry), Candace (Calvin) and eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a great grandchild "on the way". He also leaves behind his brother Carl Biletski and a brother in law Ernie Yarish, not to mention numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

     A Celebration of Life will be held,  August 7, 2017 2-4pm from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service, Canora.
