Born, Sept. 29, 1925 in Kamsack, the eldest of 12 children. Anne was raised on a farm in the St. Phillips District and in 1943 married Peter Deakoff. They farmed together for 37 years, during which they raised two children. Retired in 1980 and moved into Kamsack. To keep busy, Anne worked at the Woodlander Motel then later at the Eaglestone Lodge. After Peter's death, Anne sold the Kamsack home and moved to Ebenezer where she bought a mobile home. As her health declined, Anne decided to move into a seniors residence, Gladstone Senior's Home in Yorkton. In August Anne suffered a debilitating stroke which landed her in Yorkton Hospital. On September 1, 2021, Anne passed away quietly in hospital.
Anne was predeceased by her father Micheal Siwicki and mother Mary (née: Berezowski), step mother Helen, husband Peter Deakoff, brother Joe Siwicki, sisters; Cecile Paluck, Rose Shabatowski, and Karen McDougall.
She is survived by her daughter Lori Moth (Derek), son Wayne Deakoff (Lee), grand son Peter Moth, grand daughters Tasha Moth, Tara Ponech, Trista Deakoff, sisters; Betty Vanin, Marie Derbowka, Verna Bellomo, Phyllis Elder, and brothers Vince Siwicki, Reggie Siwicki, and Gilbert Siwicki, as well as numerous great grand children, nieces and nephews.
