August Cadotte

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of August Tyrone-Alvin Cadotte of Regina, Saskatchewan on June 29, 2026 at the age of 41 years old.
August will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Alicia Yuzicappi; his sons, Chaske, Roman, Skyus, Sage; Sister, Robin Cadotte (TJ); Mother, Roma Cadotte; and Nieces/Nephews, Tyresha (Reagan), Nicolas, Ashton, Keira, Terry, Robyn, Tyruss; as well as numerous relatives and friends. 
August was predeceased by his late father, Alvin Cadotte; and late grandparents, Irene Cote and Albert Cote. 
August was the youngest and only son of Roma Cadotte and the late Alvin Cadotte born in Yorkton, Sask. He grew up living with his only sister Robin residing in many cities across Saskatchewan. He loved his sister and mom with all his heart. 
August also loved playing sports such as baseball and pool, taking care of his family, and being a hardworking man. 
He enriched his role loving and treasuring his four sons who he worked hard for and made sure they had everything they needed to be successful. He cherished attending their baseball, football and hockey games. He also enjoyed tying their skates and rooting for them whether it was every sport, interests, or school achievements. August and Alicia raised their sons together over 20 years and his boys will carry his legacy. 
August loved the pool table. He was ready for a challenge of 8 ball, 9 ball and doubles teams. He won many tournaments with his good friends and relatives. When he slipped his glove on, we knew he was ready to rack a good game. He loved loud music like Ice Cube and 2 Pac while being a Shark Shooter team member that he created over 5 years ago.   
August has been working since he was 16 years-old. He successfully accomplished his GED and Diploma Certificate III in Carpentry Apprenticeship.
He worked for Westridge Construction for almost 10 years. His construction work will live on through the buildings of Regina at Tim Hortons (Cowessess) on Albert Street, Olive Garden, Sask Power site, Maple Leaf Pool, two local bridges, the new Tatawaw Elementary School and the Regina Ronald McDonald house. He worked at other locations such as the Water Dam in Moosomi, Red Bear, and the Runnymede Bridge.
