Carl lived on Cote First Nation most of his life. He attended school at St. Philips Residential School and Kamsack Collegiate. Carl left school at grade 10 to help his dad farm. Carl loved to play baseball, and was an awesome pitcher and catcher for fastball. He also played hockey, where he was a defence and a goalie. Carl had his A1 license was a bus driver for many years.
He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews and grandchildren. He was always willing to help if he had the money. He also enjoyed playing Bingo and Casino.
Carl was Predeceased by his parents Albert and Irene Cote, Paternal Grandparents Donald & Sarah Cote, Maternal Grandparents Robert & Maria Kitchemonia, Brothers Robert Cote, Bryant Cote, Sisters Diane Cote, Debbie Cote, Adopted daughter Denise Severight, Nephews Dallas Cote, Greg Cote, Albert Cote, Eli Cote, Grandchildren Sky Cote, Vincent Cote, Lindon Whitehawk, Great Grandchildren, Courage Whitehawk, Hailey Cote-Badger, Tanisha Cote, Numerous Aunts and Uncles.
He is survived by: Daughter Valerie Cote, Brothers, Ivan Cote (Dolly), Harvey Cote (Alvina), Joseph Badger, Roger Cote. Sisters Sheryl Cote, Elaine Cote, Shelly Whitehawk (Danny), Roma Cadotte
Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Special Favourite: Jasper he called his “Little Man” when Jasper was a toddler, he was stingy of Carl saying “My Papa” to other children.
