Don married the love of his life, Selma (Harper) on February 14, 1969. Soon after they welcomed their first son Stacy, followed by Sheri, Andrea and Jeffrey. Don and Selma built their dream home together and settled their family on the “farm” in 1976. Don and Selma loved to travel with friends and family. Their most memorable trips being to Jamaica, Alaska and Sturgeon Landing, Sk.
Donny was also passionate about hunting and fishing. He could entertain anyone for hours with his stories about them.
Don was most proud of his children and grandchildren, “Papa” loved having visits with his grandchildren and watching them play hockey. His grandchildren loved hearing the stories of his adventures in his younger days.
