Elaine Severight

Born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan on the 24th of February, 1963. Elaine peacefully passed away at 1:27pm at Yorkton Regional Health Centre on the 15th of January, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband Reynold Severight, her beloved daughters Sarah (Kristoffer) Severight, Selena (Jonas) Severight, Doreen Severight, her grandchildren, Geneva Oquias, Harrison Oquias, Juniper Redwood, Tobias Genaille-Littlechief, sisters Shirley (Darrin) Irwin, Margaret Whitehawk, Corinne (Lambert) Cote, her brother Jonathan (Andrea) Badger, by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, by aunts Carleen Brass, Sandra Lafontaine, Bernice Fleury, Victoreen Cote, Mabel Chernoff, Lillian Shingoose, and uncle Calvin Brass.

She’s predeceased by her father Peter Alphonse Badger and mother Alma Doreen Badger, her maternal grandparents Gordon Papequash, Elizabeth (Alec) Papequash her brother Ervin Badger, her sister Evelyn (Perry) Gambler, Margaret Norris, her grandchildren Isabella Star Oquias, Loyal Blaze Oquias, her great nephew Avery Bear, her aunties Margaret Keshane, Josephine Badger, Phylis Bourrasa, Mary Badger, Elizabeth Tourangeau, RIta Radchuk. Her uncles Lorne Brass, Norman Papequash, Felix Papequash, Hector Badger, George Badger, Robert Badger.
