Frances Russell

     Russell, Frances Teresa - March 21, 1920 – December 28, 2020, aged 100 years, entered into eternal rest, at her residence in Pelly, with her loving family at her side.

     Frances was born in Beaver Plains District (St. Philip’s) to Remi and Amelia Off (nee Betz), she was the middle of nine children.  She met and later married Gordon Russell, November 14, 1944.  Frances and Gordon raised their family north of Pelly, in the Maybridge District.  In 1980, they moved into Pelly where they resided with their daughter Kathy.  November of 2020, she moved to George and Linda Russell’s where she resided and was cared for until her passing.

     Frances enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and gardening.

     She is survived by her five children; Helen Klimuk, Kathy Russell, Ron (Janet) Russell, George (Linda) Russell and Terry (Tom Thorson) Russell; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, also she is survived by 2 sisters, Irene Seitz and Terry Paluck. Frances was predeceased by her husband Gordon; parents Remi and Amelia Off; brothers George and Lawrence; sisters Annie, Amy, Josie and Mary and son-in-law John. 

     Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family service was held from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service – Kamsack, Fr. Michal Pajak, OMI officiating. Frances will be laid to rest, beside her husband Gordon at the Riverview Cemetery – Kamsack.
