Fred Kazakoff

KAZAKOFF, Frederick Joseph born March 5, 1943 – November 7, 2025 aged 82 years

Fred was born to parents George and Annie Kazakoff (nee Fofonoff) March 5th, 1943 and lived most his life, farming in the Veregin district. Other than farming, he also had employment with the R.M. of Sliding Hills cutting grass, then also working for the Norquay Alfalfa Plant and the Kamsack Strawboard Plant. In 2012, Fred with his wife, Adeline, retired to Canora. They were married in October 10th, 1964. Fred and Adeline were blessed with three children: Bradley, Claudia and Dean. In later years, welcoming, two grandchildren; Jesse and James Kazakoff as well as four great grandchildren; Owen, Logan, Morgan, and Annabelle Matechuk.

He is survived by his Bradley; and daughter, Claudia (Bill), along with their families; sister, Natalie Yarie; his brother, George. Fred is predeceased by his parents; wife, Adeline and son Dean.

A Private Family Graveside will be held in the spring of 2026 at the Veregin Community Cemetery, Veregin. Memorial donations in memory of Fred, may be made to Veregin New Horizons – Community Hall.
