Obituary

George was born to Eliza and Frank Cote on June 6, 1952 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. He took his last breath at 1:27 pm on April 30, 2023 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan with his family by his side.

George was an avid horseman he and one of passions was to be around horses. He loved racing his forever horse, Race Car. Farming was also one of his passions. George attended Prevocational Tech School. He went to school for 2 years, taking agriculture and obtaining his farming certificate. He was a farmer for 30 plus years. George started working with Irvine Farms in 1983. Before that he worked at the Cote Band Farms.

George worked for CN Railway in the early 70’s in the Bredenbary and Hudson Bay areas.

George is survived by life partner Corrine Stongquill; his children Rodney Cote, Pamela (Stanley) Shingoose, Sharon (Clark) Whitehawk, Norrine Cote, Edward (Rochelle) Cote, Jarrom Kayseas. His step children, Lisa (Ken) Strongquill, Denise (Jeremy) Strongquill, Carol-Anne (Sloan) Strongquill. His siblings, Andy (Sheila) Cote, Fred (Donna) Cote, Casey and adopted brother Craig (Michelle) Irvine. Grandchildren, Debra Madisen, Symone, Mandi, Edward, Kassie, Nylan, trinity, Junior, Chase, Leland, Keinan, Zachary, Alexandra, Rihanna, Brandon, Shariden, Makayla, Rachel, Emma, Eddie, Cory, Ava, Angie, Gary, Mariah, Kaden, Dion, Nicole, Chase, Michael, Marissa, Mataya. Great Grandchildren, Kylee, Shelleece, Georianne, Jaya, Shanell, Emily, Auilyah, Bryliegh, Lyra-Skye, Zariah, Bryce, Nate, Brody, Dionte, Creedance, Everlee, Jirayah, Brayden, Nylan Jr., Dearry, Mara, Ed Jr., Edison, Stephan, Dean

George is predeceased by his parents, Eliza Genialle and Frank Cote, Wife, Diane S. Cote. Siblings, Trapper, John Bird, Luboy, Margaret, Ruby, Faye, Yvonne. Grandson, Bernard BJ Quewesance. His great grandchildren, Tanisha, Hailey and Courage and Keegan, Declan.
