Isabel Ritchie

RITCHIE – Isabel Francis born October 26, 1926 – June 10, 2021 aged 94 years.

Mrs. Isabel Francis Ritchie (nee Stepburger), age 94, of Kamsack, SK, passed away June 10, 2021 at the Kamsack Union Hospital.

She was born October 26, 1926, at Pelly SK, a daughter of the late Joseph and Francis Stepburger.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jack Ritchie; son-in-law Daniel Rezansoff, two brothers, Alfred (Anne) Stepburger and Arnie Stepburger.

She was a member of The United Church of Canada, Ducks Unlimited and the Kamsack Wildlife Federation.  She enjoyed feeding and watching her birds as she would say “piggied out” at the bird feeder.  She mastered the call of the Sea Gull and would call out for her Sea Gull (she named MacKenzie), to come for supper.  She said it was the same Sea Gull but we will never know for sure, as they all look alike.  Mom attended every rodeo within a 2 hour radiance of Kamsack.  She looked forward to her annual trip to Regina to attend Agribition and The Royal Red.

Mom attended as many hockey, soccer and ball games as she could to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren play.  She was a proud supporter of them all.  Through the years, her heart just like her home was open to many boarders who were either hockey players, ministers, nurses or teachers.

Mom is survived by three daughters Candace, son Jonathan, Penny and children Jessie & Jenny children Avery and Bennett,  Dallas son Brady, Kelsey and Darryl and daughter Presley, Riley and Brianna and son Hudson, and Shannon children Derek and Michelle children Felix and Ruby, Tyler and Melissa children Jack and Josie, Tegan and Shamus and daughter Guinevere.  Mom you are loved and will be missed dearly. 

In Keeping with Isabel wishes a family service will be held at a later date.
