Obituary

Jimmy was born to Bill Malainey and Sophie Malainey (Tomchuk) in the Wroxton District. He attended the Two Creeks School which was close to his family farm. On November 22, 1981 he married Joan Fromm and together they made their home in Kamsack. Jimmy worked briefly doing construction and carpentry. His personality extended into farming and he farmed many years with his brother Billie. He enjoyed trips to Minot, watching sports – curling and the Saskatchewan Roughriders on television. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Jimmy was predeceased by his brother Nick (1979), and his wife Joan (2017); and is survived by his brother Billie Malainey and sister Alice Asselstine; his step-son Garth (Tracy) and their children Taylor and Carson; his two daughters Crystal (Andrew) and their children, Paloma, Piper and Charity; Carrie (Randall) and their two children Chase and Paige.
