Janay Thompson (Nay Nay)
June 22, 2005 – September 8, 2024
It is with the heaviest hearts that we mourn the sudden and tragic passing of Janay Myla Caroline Thompson on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the young age of 19, in Saskatoon, SK.
Janay was predeceased by her maternal great-grandparents, Caroline and Lloyd Thompson; her uncle, Sheldon Thompson; cousins, Elijah Redwood, Latrell Redwood, Tyrone Thompson; and her very special childhood friend, Kyla Cameron.
Janay is survived by her loving son, Chayton Sheldon Thompson; her parents, Crystal and Dustin Littlewolfe; and her grandparents, Murray and Vera Thompson, and Margaret Veilleux (Delphis), Gail Redwood. She is deeply missed by her siblings Ayasha Zanc (Dan), Terri-Anne Thompson (Chad), Dustin Littlewolfe Jr. (Cera), Kallie Thompson, and Eric Morin (Trinity), nieces and nephews; Tanner, Amaiya, Noah, Artemis, Atreus, Niomi, Elias, Ayla, and Josephine, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who were like family.
Janay had a special way of lighting up a room and making friends wherever she went. She was an amazing mother to her son, always doing her best to keep him happy. She loved taking him to the park and for long walks. She always made the most of every situation life threw at her and when life was tough, she focused on the positives.
She loved baking from scratch, listening to music, watching movies and TV, hanging out with her friends. She also enjoyed sketching/drawing and skateboarding. Janay was known for giving everyone a hard time, always teasing and joking with them. She was always there for others, whether you needed to vent, cry, or chat. No matter what, she had a way of turning things around and making you laugh.
