Jennie Schow Obituary

SCHOW – Jennie Francis November 26, 1927 – November 27, 2023 It is with great sadness that the family of Jennie Francis Schow late of Kamsack advise of her passing November 27th, 2023, at the age of 96. Pree deceased by husband Norman Schow, parents; John Paluck, Polly Soltys; stepdad Dmytro Soltys, brothers Mike, John, Tony Paluck; sister Elsie. Jennie was born on the farm in Pelly, SK Jennie married Norman Schow in 1045 and settled on a farm north of Pelly where she lived most of her life. After Norman’s passing, she moved into Pelly then Kamsack Nursing home where she passed. During her lifetime she was a member of the Pelly branch Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Pelly Lions Club, Happy Harts Club also volunteering for many years at the Pelly Museum. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, travel and visiting with family. She is survived by: Stepbrother Walter (Pat) Soltys; Sister-in-law Vi (Lorne) Arnott; Donna (Herbert) Harrison, Patricia (Bruce) McCulloch, Randy (Patti) Paluck, Marilyn Patterson (Steve Chan); David (Theresa) Lasko, Brian (Theresa) Lasko; Sandra (Rod) Hassman, Tony (Barb) Paluck, Tyla (Darwin) Fonos, Dale Paluck; Philane (Ken) Jackel, Riana (Mark) Greve; plus, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will take place in the spring of 2024. If you so desire donations in her name came be made to the Kamsack Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24, Lions International or a charity of your choice.
