Kerry Chernoff

CHERNOFF, Kerry Dawn March 26, 1953 – May 2, 2023 aged 70 year

     It is with profound sadness and much love we announce the passing of Kerry Dawn Chernoff on May 2, 2023 at the age of 70 years. 

     Kerry was born to Duncan and Muriel McLean on March 26, 1953 in Kamsack, SK where she grew up on her family’s farm and attended school in Kamsack. 

      She later married Donald Chernoff and together they raised three boys on the family farm near Runnymede, SK.  Kerry had many different part time jobs, she worked at Shop Easy Bakery, Mary Jane’s hair salon and the Kamsack Reginal Library.  Kerry dedicated numerous volunteer hours with Kamsack Air Cadet, the Horticultural Society, Kamsack Quilting Club and was an active member at the Kamsack Legion Branch #24.  Her greatest pride and her love was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

       Kerry will lovingly be remembered by her children Clinton, Trevor (Kimberley) and Darcy (Carleigh) grandchildren Makenzie (Bernie), Samantha, Tristen, Bailee, Victoria, Lylac and Vitaliy, sister Rilla (Donnie) Fisher, brother Gordon (Sharon) McLean and numerous nieces and nephews.

       Kerry is predeceased by her parents Duncan and Muriel McLean

Visitation was held on May 8, 2023 from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service, Kamsack.  Funeral Service was held May 9, 2023 from the O.C.C. Hall, Kamsack with Gwen Reilkoff officiating.  For those who wish to donate in memory of Kerry may do so the Tombovka Cemetery Fund (Box 1027, Kamsack, SK., S0A 1S0).
