BLOODOFF Lavina Maria born June 11, 1942 – January 8, 2026 aged 83 years
Lavina Bloodoff was born in Kamsack, on June 11, 1942 to parents Mike and Mary Pelechaty. She passed away on January 8, from the Kamsack and District Nursing Home at the aged 83 years. Lavina grew up on a farm 18 miles north east of Kamsack in the St. Philips district. She attended Saint Bascillian School for 8 years, then went to high school in Kamasck. She left school in grade 10 and went to work. She married William (Bill) Kuzma on August 10, 1962. She worked various jobs around Kamsack and started “Lavina Place” in 1972. She married Paul Bloodoff on June 13, 1987. She continued to own and run her own restaurant until her semi-retirement. She worked part time cooking at the Madge Lake golf Course for a couple of years until full retirement.
She is predeceased by the love of her life Paul Bloodoff, her sister Stephania, Virgina, Valarie, Ann, Dilly and her parents Mike and Mary.
She will always be remembered by her sister Iris, long-time friend Vera Kuzma, numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Wolkowski Funeral Service, Kamsack, Sk with Pastor Stephen Ruten officiating.
