Olive Lillian (nee Kurenoff) beloved wife of Stan Ritchie of Kamsack entered into rest at the Kamsack District Nursing home on May 5, 2022 at the age of 92 years.  Born on September 25, 1930 in the Cote District, to Alex Jr. and Pauline (Polly) Horkoff.  Olive was the eldest of their five children.  Olive attended Silver Creek School and attained her grade ten in high school.  She moved to Kamsack and worked as a clerk at Dan’s Grocery Store, Stein Clothing Store and Davies Drugstore.

On October 25, 1949 she married the love of her life, Stan Ritchie at the Westminster Memorial United Church in Kamsack.  Their month long honeymoon took them to the states where they visited many sites, family and friends.  Her home was always open; especially to Sandy Cojocar and Francis O’Keefe who boarded but became like family.
