Rick Izzard

Rick was born July 24th, 1958 in Pilot Mound, Manitoba to George and Gladys Izzard.
In 1967, they moved to the farm in Runnymede, Saskatchewan.

Rick received his education in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and when he completed grade 11. In 1970, he went to technical school in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and took a Heavy Duty Mechanics course.  He worked at Nykolaishen’s garage for a period of time and then he went on to work on the oil rigs in Alberta.
In 1989, Rick moved his family from Vegreville, Alberta to Togo, Saskatchewan where he raised his 3 children, Daren, Mark, and Cherylee, until purchasing the family farm in 1999.

Rick loved to tinker and fix things around the farm. He also had a love for fishing.  Rick was a very proud Grandpa to 2 grandchildren, Hailey and Riley.
