Thomas (Tom) Merlin Getty of Pelly, SK passed away suddenly in Medicine Hat, AB on March 1, 2022.  Tom was born in Norquay, Sk. He attended Pelly Elementary & High School in Pelly, SK. Tom drove trucks across Canada & USA for most of his working life.  Tom provided significant support to his parents, especial in their later years. In recent years after his parents passed away he carried on the farming operation which was just outside of Pelly, SK.  Tom managed in some way to stay connected with all his relatives either by phone or a visit. It is sad to say goodbye & he will be missed by family & friends.

Tom was predeceased by his father Hewitt Getty, his mother Irene Getty & his brother Robert Getty.  He is survived by his nephew Matthew Getty of Winnipeg, his Aunt Shirley Spratt of Regina & his Aunt Donna Johnson of Calgary, numerous cousins & their families.

The memorial for Tom will be Saturday July 23, 2022 at 11 am. at the Maloneck Cemetery with lunch to follow at Pelly Drop In Centre.
