LUCASH, Deborah Jane (nee Bloudoff) June 16, 1957 – October 16, 2014 aged 57 years, passed away suddenly at the Regina General Hospital.  Deb was born to Fred and Polly Bloudoff (nee Shukin) in Kamsack and was raised on the family farm near Veregin.  She felt fortunate to have lived so close to cousins and often reminisced about her happy childhood.  After high school Deb attended Reliance Business College in Regina where she got her Clerk II typist designation.  Later she would complete the Municipal Government Administration course and also Medical Terminology (achieving the highest mark in the class.)

She worked at various other jobs before she started her lengthy career at Sunrise Health Region.  Her career was based in Kamsack but took her to Norquay and Yorkton where she formed many new friendships wherever she worked.  Her sense of humor was always close to the surface usually gales of laughter following her wherever she went.

She leaves to mourn her passing, husband Leo, son Scott (Caitlin), grandson Lance, mother-in-law Anne, brother Ken (Fay), sisters-in-law Sonia (Ernie) Hordichuk, Adele Gabel, seven nephews and one niece.  She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Polly Bloudoff and father-in-law John Lucash.

Memorial Service was held October 23, 2014 from the O.C.C. Hall – Kamsack with interment to follow at the Veregin Cemetery – Veregin District, SK.  Those so wishing, may make memorial donations to Kamsack Hospital Auxiliary.
