Irene Brown

Brown, Irene (nee Kuhn) February 17, 1937 – February 3, 2015, aged 77 years. It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Irene at the Kamsack and District Nursing Home.

Irene was born on the family farm at Bromhead, Sk. Later that fall the family moved to a small farm, south of Midale, Sk.

Irene grew up, completed school and entered into a career in psychiatric Nursing in Weyburn.

In 1956, Irene married Pete Everson and had four children. Over the years living and working in the area of Midale. In 1970, Irene and family were transferred to Calgary, with Westbourne Drilling.

Later in life, Irene moved back to Midale and married Bill Brown.

Irene was admitted to Kamsack and District Nursing Home in June of 2011. She passed away peacefully February 3, 2015.

Irene reunites with her daughter Denise, son-in-law Ron, grandchildren, Nathan, Adrianna and Jared on May 16, 1987.

Irene is survived by her children; Wendy (Felix), Greg (Tami), Leanne (Brad), grandchildren; Alyssa, Kyla, Erica and Justin, as well as brother Edgar, sister Margaret, nieces, nephews and cousins including Helen (Peter) Fofonoff of Kamsack.

A celebration of life service will be held privately at a later date.
