   John (JR) Rezansoff passed away suddenly with Fay, his loving wife, by his side on their homestead in the Togo district, on January 12, 2017, John was 83 years of age.

   John was born on September 17, 1933, on the farm where he currently resided. John attended Carclew Country School until grade 8, then he started farming with his father. He also drove logging trucks in Flin Flon and worked in various bush camps.

   In 1954, he met the love of his life, Fay West in Togo and soon married on July 4th 1955. He then continued farming with his father until he accumulated the family land. Together John & Fay raised 4 children on the family farm. John had many other ventures in his life such as owning and operating the Empress Hotel in Togo, doing land clearing, custom combining, selling farm machinery as well as running his own farm.

   John enjoyed many things in his life such as farming, attending dances, listening to music, western movies, watching sports on T.V. and socializing. John was an avid story teller, he loved to tell family & friends all about the good old days. He enjoyed visiting with his family & friends, sharing a joke and a good laugh.

   John was still actively farming up until his passing, and had plans to continue farming.

   John was predeceased by his parents John Sr. & Ann (Swetlikoff), his sister Olga and sister Mary (Red Sangster), Mother in law Alice Kate West, Father in law Jack West, Brother in laws; Keith West (Dorthy), Alfred West, Ellis West (Vicki), Glen West, Daughter in law Deborah (Hurdal) Rezansoff.

   Left to mourn John’s passing are his loving wife of 61 years, Fay (West); his children Melaine (Brent) of Saskatoon, Brian (Sandy) of Saskatoon, Larry (Cathy) of Roblin, and Shelly (Dwayne) of Togo. Grandchildren; Tami (Eric), Tyson (Alison), Ryan (Audry), Cory (Kim), Devon, Ashley

   (Dan), Carley (Evan), Dustin. And 9 Great Grandchildren; Mckenzie, Santana, Aubry, Auryana, Kacy, Tucker, Peyton, Raeleigh and Mason. Brother in law Joe Newby and sister in law Ella West. Numerous nieces and nephews.

   John will be greatly missed by family & friends. Upon John’s request a family memorial will be held at a later date.
