Mike Panchuk
July 13, 2017Panchuk, Mike - January 1, 1920 – July 13, 2017, entered eternal rest at the Yorkton Regional Hospital - Yorkton at the age of 97 years. Mike was born to Sam and Wasylena Panchuk (nee Tumak), in the R.M of Calder, Wroxton District. On November 11, 1949 he married Helen Sakal and they were blessed with four children; Dianne, Garry, Marjorie and Launey.
Mike first worked as a mechanic in Kamsack. He then started farming northeast of Kamsack and stayed on the family farm until his recent passing.
He is survived by his wife Helen, two daughters; Dianne (Louis), Marjorie, two sons; Garry and Launey, six grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, Trish, Megan, Chris and Karla and by two great grandchildren Elizabeth and Emily.
He is predeceased by his parents and by two brothers; Dan and Bill.
Funeral Services were held July 18, 2017 from Westminister Memorial United Church – Kamsack, with Rev. Kevin Sprong officiating. Interment followed at the Riverview Cemetery.
