Rosie Laura Musqua entered eternal rest at the Kamsack and Disitrict Nursing Home with her loving family at her side.

Rosie was born to Michelle and Madeline Cadotte (nee Brass) in Kamsack. Rosie attended school at the File Hills Residential School in Fort Qu'appelle, Sask. As a young girl, Rosie and a friend ran away from the residential school and came back to Keeseekoose First Nation.

This is a story that she would often tell her children and grandchildren over and over again. Later, she met and married Scotty Musqua on the Keeeseekose First Nation.

Rosie was in regular attendance at the St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church in St. Philip's. She had a strong sense of faith and belief in both a religious and a traditional ways. Rosie's door to her home was always open to help anyone that needed it. She had often mentioned to many people that she was rich and proud with the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she had. After the passing of her husband Scotty, she continued to help raise her grandchildren and retained a quiet lifestyle. Although she loved to visit and travel, she always enjoyed a cup of tea in her home on Keeseekoose.

Rosie is survived by her loving children; Renita (Blaine) Badger, Laureen (George) Musqua, Roselle (Sheldon) Musqua and by one son Reginald She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren who are too numerous to mention. Rosie is also survived by one sister Mabel Cote.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Scotty, sons; Floyd and Doug and by one daughter Dorinda.
