Vincent "Vince" Krochak

KROCHAK, Vincent John born July 24, 1968 – June 20, 2016 aged 47 years.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, son, brother and father Vince who passed away suddenly.  Vince was born in Regina to John and Karen Krochak, he grew up on the family farm just northeast of Pelly.  As a kid, Vince had two great passions: hockey and farming.  He played hockey for Pelly and Kamsack winning the Bantam B Provincial Championship in the mid-eighties, but after realizing he wouldn’t play for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs he pursued his other love of farming.  He loved nothing more than to be outside surveying the crops.  Vince worked for Steven Nahachewsky’s farm for the past decade and was very devoted to his career. 

                Vince met the love of his life Pam in 2010, and they were married October 20, 2012.  Pam was constantly by his side and was a great source of support for Vince.  He was popular member of the community and could often be seen driving around town with one of his dogs – Brandy, Bell or Lucy in his favorite GMC 4X4 “Blackie”.  When he wasn’t around town, he’d be driving out to John and Karen’s place to tell them about the latest goings-on around town.

                Vince is survived by his loving wife, Pam, parents; John and Karen Krochak (nee Hrycenko) of Pelly, sister, Cheryl Krochak (Riek Gladys) of Winnipeg, daughter, Kortney and step children; Vance, Kaitlin and Jodie.

                A Funeral Service was held on June 25, 2016 at the O.C.C. Hall, Kamsack, SK with interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Kamsack, Sk., with Kevin Sprong officiating. To leave a note of condolence for the family, please visit Wolkowski.ca
