Eugene Kiwaluk Obituary

Eugene Steven Kiwaluk born November 5, 1942, beloved husband of Olga Kiwaluk, entered eternal rest April 2, 2019 at the age of 76.   Eugene grew up on the family farm by Arran, SK.    Eugene was the 3rd youngest of 4 children.   He attended Racing Lake School, and then St. Joseph College, in Yorkton.  After graduating he worked for Nutty Club doing sales, then was employed at Dutchyshen Farm Equipment, followed by Kamsack Credit Union, Veregin Co-op, and Kamsack Co-op.

Eugene enjoyed curling, golf tournaments, camping (especially at Madge Lake), fishing trips, along with many family and friend get togethers, and enjoying time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed helping in the community. Some of his volunteering included Knights of Columbus, the Elks Club, and was actively involved with St. Josaphat’s Parish.  Growing up on the farm, his passion for the industry was always close to his heart.   He continued farming south of Pelly and would always be willing to help other farmers.  He also loved horses and kept 4 of them.

Eugene is predeceased by parents Michael and Marjorie Kiwaluk, brother Marcel, brother Walter, sister-in-law Lily, brother-in-law Arthur Gazdewich.   He is survived by his loving wife Olga, daughters Deidre (Curtis Shukin), Lynette (Don Krysak) grandchildren Brayden and Kyle, Kelly (Stephen Jeffrey) grandchildren Ellise and Pria, Ashley (Robert Larson) grandchildren Liam and Max, sisters Helen (Larry) Koturbash, Sylvia Gazdewich, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kamsack and District Nursing Home Auxiliary.

                                                                Rest in peace now Dad.
