Emery leaves to mourn his four beautiful daughters, Rachell James, Emily James, Rihanna Severight and Jalya Lemaigre; his father Bobby Cote, his siblings Quintania (Clayton) Severight, Peter Severight, Brittani Severight, Aaron Ironstand, Frank Keewatin, Elizabeth Severight, Melissa (Brad) Cote, Mary-Jo Severight and many numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Emery is predeceased by his mother Denise Severight, Grandparents Brenda and Louise Genaille and Lorraine and Norman. Brother Adrain Severight, Aunty Lorna Genaille, Uncles Narvel Genaille and Shawn Severight, Cousins Chad Cote and Hillary Cote.
