Mary and Alex were blessed being together for almost 70 years.   Through her lifetime with Alex, being on so many boards they did a lot of traveling.  Mary was also very happy they were able to vacation in Hawaii, Mexico, Ottawa and Las Vegas together.   Mary loved to garden, growing lovely and bountiful gardens, planting flowers decorating their beautiful yard and cooking for her family; making sure no one was left hungry. Which is why they nicknamed her kitchen “Mary's Diner”.  She was grateful member of ALON, Doukhobour Society of Veregin, and also the National Doukobour Heritage Village (N.D.H.V) for many years, having the opportunity to host many guest from different countries and other regions of Canada.   She loved to live the life of a humble person, and was blessed with so much.  She also said she will truly miss her family deeply, and at the same time she was blessed with having so many years with them all.   Mary was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one great granddaughter and her loving husband of 70 years, Alex in August of 2021.   Mary leaves to mourn her loving children Diane (Art), Alan (Kim), Perry, Danny (Melissa), Karen (Daryl) and Wayne, eight grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.   May she live in Gods Heavenly Kingdom free of worry and pain.
