Mervin, husband of Nola (nee Whitmarsh), of Kamsack, Saskatchewan passed away July 22, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Born in Smeaton, Saskatchewan on November 26, 1936 to Bill and Hazel (McBride) Campbell. Merv grew up in the Hudson Bay area of Saskatchewan and was thee third of four children; Doreen (Kinch), Bernice (Foraie) and Marie (Wizniak).
Mervin and Nola were married on June 20, 1959 and sons Warren (with Marcia) and Craig (with Bev) came along soon after. The family lived briefly in Melville and moved to Kamsack in 1963. He has two grandchildren: David (with Kendra) and Theresa.
Merv, was a man who defined himself by his work. He only knew one way and that was to work hard and then do it again the next day. Long-haul truck driver, construction foreman, millwright and farmer were some of his jobs.
Leisure time, when he took it, was spent hunting, fishing, quadding, snowmobiling and camping.
