It is with extreme sadness that the family of Nicholas Tomochko say goodbye to their 21-year-old son and brother. Nicholas was born on December 15, 1999, and raised in Kamsack with his older brother Kody and his older sister Lexie.
Nicholas spent most of his childhood at their family cabin at Madge Lake as he loved swimming, boating, wakeboarding, wake surfing and fishing. He continued to spend time at the lake with his family and many friends into adulthood. He graduated from Kamsack Comprehensive Institute and has worked for Ron's Construction until his passing.
Nicholas is remembered by his family as a vibrant young man who was always looking for the next adventure. Those who were closest to him knew he was quiet and shy until you got to know him but then became your most loyal and fun-loving friend. Nicholas loved all animals, especially his dog Malibu, who he adopted in June of 2020. She was his pride and joy and perfect in every possible way.
Nicholas was living in his own home which soon became the hub for his crew of friends. Nicholas’s close friends knew “what you saw was always what you got with Nick and what you saw – if you were lucky enough to be his friend – was a truly delightful, generous, loyal, easy-going, funny human being”.
Nicholas is lovingly remembered by his parents Tom and Michele, his brother Kody and fiancé Brooklynn and sister Lexie. His grandmother Monica Haeusler and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and numerous friends. Nicholas is predeceased by his sister Angel, grandparents Alphonse Haeusler, Nicholas and Helen Tomochko and Cousin Heather Haeusler.
