Such a beautifully written obituary. So very sad to hear of the loss of your dad, and my uncle. I reflect on the times spent visiting the farm, where some of my best childhood memories took place. In between wreaking havoc with my cousins, I often found myself running back into the house to plunk myself onto Uncle Adolph's lap for more of his relentless but loving teasing. Such a gentle soul he was. God speed Uncle Adolph. May you rest in peace.

We are humbled and grateful to all family, friends and neighbors for the outpouring of love, visits, flowers, masses, food, hugs, support and looking after the farm during Adolph's hospitalization and after his death.
Adolph must be looking down and beaming with pride at this amazing community he was privileged to call "home".
To all who reached out in any way, "Thank You", we are truly blessed.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Adolph. I have many fond memories of him. The times in summer and during the Christmas break that I spent at the Wolkowski farm were good memories and he is part of them. I always admired how he could fix anything mechanical, operate any machine, build the go cart that was such an awesome machine at the farm, hunt deer and moose, beat Randy, Gordon, and me, all at once, in a wrestling match on the living room floor, ... just a few of the memories. I truly enjoyed the couple of summers I spent working alongside him at Albert's construction. It was always so nice to hear his sincere "hello!" and receive his firm handshake in the too few times we crossed paths and visited. The deepest and most sincere condolences and sympathies from Darla and myself to all of the family. May you take comfort knowing that we are two of the many people thinking of you at this time.
