Marie, I was so saddened to open the paper today and learn that our dear Cas has entered eternal peace. Cas was such a special person to everyone who knew him. His gentle nature was second to none. I know he had been battling health issues for a while but he never let it show. I loved him dearly and will miss his smiling face coming into my office. It was very saddening to hear of the death of Casimir Broda. He was always very interested in what we were doing, how our family was doing, and in our ideas and thoughts. He met many members of my family and created lasting friendships. I recall the most interesting discussions with him on politics, business, the Faith, and other matters. He was a gentlemen in all respects. I will offer a Rosary for the repose of his soul and will have a Mass said for him. May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences go to your families at this time. I remember my late husband Allan speaking fondly of his having worked with Cas many years ago and what a wonderful person Cas was and the respect he got from all who knew him. I can recall spending time at your home on an occasion when we were in the area. He was a wonderful giving and caring man who will be greatly missed by his family, and extended families and all who knew him. RIP Cas Broda

Dear Broda Family,
So sorry for the loss of Mr. Broda. He was a kind and gentle person with such a generous soul.
I just wanted to say a long overdue thank you to Mr. Broda and the whole Broda family for the time and donations to St. Michael's Camp. The dream of a new kitchen for the camp had been a dream of mine (and many others) for many years. Without Mr. Broda's drive and determination it might never have happened. His timing was amazing as one day after many years of determination I lost faith and didn't think the built would happen. 48 hours later Mr. Broda contacted the board. God works in mysterious ways, we just need to listen. Mr. Broda was very good at hearing what God had to say.
He may have been a great farmer who seeded many fields. But, it is his seeds of generosity that will flourish and continue to grow. He was a great inspiration to myself and my family. Thank you for sharing Mr. Broda with us.
