Thank you, Brian & Linda. I too am glad you had a visit at your folk's anniversary & Garry got to visit his aunties too - very special. Yes, he was a special guy & he's missed so much everyday! I appreciate your comments & I know Garry always enjoyed your visits.

Thanks so much Hillary, Alan & family. We always planned to come and visit you, but sadly that won't happen now. Garry often spoke about you and was eager to come for a visit. Somehow, life got in the way! I am so thankful for our friendship of 60 years and all that we've been through together, even if we are an ocean apart. Meeting you in 2000 was something I'll never forget! It was as if we had met before because we had written to each other for so long. Thank you for your friendship and the sentiments expressed. I send you my most sincere sympathy. Garry's death is such a tragedy and I feel so bad for all of you! Bill sent me the video and it was truly beautiful! It showed the essence of a truly good man, who loved and was loved.
Although Garry was a bit older than me, I had very good memories with Valerie and Robin and your Mom and Dad.
My heart is with you!

Garry "Turtlecup" became a part of our family when I was 6. He was a cherished brother-in-law who loved to tease and to be teased. He was a terrific son-in-law to our Mom and Dad who loved him dearly and spoke highly of him. He treated Mom and Dad with love and respect ( and of course a little teasing). His death is going to leave a huge void in our lives. I am so happy that my big sister married such a wonderful man.

Thanks, Sis and Ricardo! He loved you too, and remembered the "Turtlecup" nick- name very well. His passing will affect so many of us for a long, long time. It is a great legacy to have spread so many smiles in his lifetime and made so many cherished and dear friends. He was a VERY good, loving husband, father & Grandpa and he even loved his in-laws! Quite a guy! :)
