Marylyn and family, I'm sorry I'm so late posting my condolences. I was leaving on holidays when I heard of Garth's passing. He was a great man, I enjoyed our times together in high school and with our band the Silouettes. We sort of lost touch when I moved to Edmonton, I did ask about him every time I was back in Kamsack, but as you well know, he was a very busy man. Finally hooked up with him from time to time in the last few years, and I always marvelled at his strong will and positive outlook despite the battle he was fighting. He will be missed, and if possible, please let me know when the memorial is in the spring, as I would love to attend.

It is with great sorrow that I hear of Garths passing. I remember 1965 when we attended KCI and organized a fine musical ban called the Silhouettes. We even made the big time by appearing on live TV on Profile from CKOS in Yorkton. You were a great accordian player and we shared many wonderful moments together. May you Rest in Peace and enjoy eternity.

Marilyn, I am so sorry for your loss. Garth and I were very good friends. I shall miss him greatly. I know that Garth would want us to take a moment to remember him and then move on with our lives, so that is what I choose to do. I spent many happy hours with my dear friend Garth at the lake. We just hit it off so well. Please know that I grieve with you and with Garth,s family. Garth just had so much character. He is in a better place now Marilyn. Free of pain. Marilyn and Family, we are so sorry about Garth's passing. I remember him as being such a wonderful, fun loving man. I could listen to him all the time telling his jokes and stories.
