    Norrish, Luise Loretta, born November 26, 1928 to February 6, 2017, entered eternal rest at the Invermay Health Centre at the age of 88 years.  Luise was born to Herman and Veronica Albiez of Annaheim, SK.  Luise took her schooling at Bunker Hill School, where she completed her Grade 8.  For a number of years, Luise worked at the hospital in Carrot River.  While in Carrot River, she met the love of her life, William Joseph (Joe) Norrish.  They were married on November 26, 1952 in Carrot River.

    In the spring of 1953, the couple moved to Alberta where Joe was employed.  Ten years later, they moved to Saskatchewan, living in various locations, finally making Buchanan home in 1974.  Luise was a homecare aide for Canora Home Care for 15 years, retiring in 1995.  Luise and Joe were blessed with four children:  Tim, Wendy, Stanley, and Donna.  Luise loved cats, gardening, baking, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

    She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Florence, her brother, Cornelius (Bud) and brother-in-law, Gerald.

    Luise is survived by her husband, Joe, son, Tim, of Buchanan, daughter, Wendy, of Buchanan, son, Stanley (Melanie) of Lipton, daughter, Donna, of Buchanan, four grandchildren, Orry, of Regina, Trevor, Mitchell and Cameron, all of Lipton, one sister-in-law, Arlene Albiez of Lethbridge, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

    Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Buchanan, with Rev. Marcin Mironiuk, OMI officiating.  Interment followed at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Buchanan.
