Ewacheski, William, December 28, 1933 – April 3, 2015, aged 81 years. Billy as his friends and family knew him, was born to Steve and Mary Ewacheski (nee Novitski) in the district of Runnymede. He was the youngest of four boys: Joe, Mike, Johnnie and then Billy.

Billy was a very quiet, private man who mainly kept to himself. That being said, to those who he was close with knew him as a jolly, happy man who was always there to listen or help out. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. His father passed away when Uncle Billy was quite young. So he, along side of his older brothers, worked hard on the family farm. Johnnie and Billy both lived at home with their mother on the family farm, each taking care of the other. The two brothers were usually together and rarely apart, where one went the other went. After their mother passed away, Johnnie and Billy went into the used car business. They would fix up vehicles and sell them at a very modest price, most times making very little profit. They wanted to make vehicles affordable to those that really needed one. This business kept them busy, together, and doing what they loved, working on vehicles and being able to help others. Billy was a man that you couldn’t help but like. He always had a smile on his face. His chuckle was so original and so memorable that just thinking of it makes you smile and chuckle to yourself. He always saw the lighter side of life. He was quieter and very hard working. He enjoyed working in the field, fixing cars, having lunch at the Chinese restaurant, and talking with friends. He will be remembered as a soft spoken man; a very good person; as a man that never raised his voice; a man that was always positive; a man that was technical when it came to work; a man that was self-taught smart. Billy was a very caring man. He cared about his family, his friends and anyone who needed help. He respected his mother and father. He cared about the well-being of others. He will be remembered as a very quiet, private man who was always ready to help anyone at anytime and anywhere. He would give you the shirt off of his back and the last dollar in his wallet. He will always be remembered for his smile, his laugh, his hardworking nature and for always seeing the lighter side, and the better side of a person. Billy believed in honesty and a good day’s work. If Billy had a motto we believe that it would be: “It is what it is. No one can change anything except to change themselves.”

Billy is predeceased by; his father Steve, mother Mary, brothers Joe, Mike and John.

Leaves behind to remember him; nephew Bernie (Renita Pickton) Barabash and their children; Brett (Nicole) Barabash, Chase, Taylor, Dena (Bruce) Stasczak – Reagan and Cole, nephew Ken (Debb) Barabash; niece Pamela (Darren) Warren and her children; Justine (Mike) McCaffrey – Kaesen and Deakin, Travis (Niea) Nykolaishen, niece Jane (Bob) Hoy and her children; Codie Chutskoff , Tanner Chutskoff, Mikhail Chutskoff, Jayden Chutskoff; best-friends Peter and Lydia Cherkas, caregiver Margaret Marion, and by several cousins and close friends.
